  • Which gyro for a Trex500?

    Title says it all really.

I'm finding I want something a little better than the 401 that's currently on there.

What's the best bet for a 500 ATM??
    Cheers, Lee.

Well there you have it Lee, every post saying a different gyro! lol! In all seriousness, you won't go wrong with any of the above! Quark, DS760, Futaba GY520, CSM 720 etc etc etc, all great gyros

I think the CSM 720 is pretty large for the 500 TBH. Although a great gyro its size is a bit of a handicap.
If the quark is as good as the ds760 then you can't go wrong.

Makes the decision a bit easier

                      Wow!
Thanks for all the replies guys

Looks like I have some thinking to do!

EDIT: Does the Quark work with the normal Spartan USB connection thingy?

you need the USB cable and an adapter (not expensive)

the adapters are finished, just waiting on the plastic case being delivered and they shall be out.

                        cheers

I already have a Spartan gyro and bought a Spartan RC Flash-Link USB cable for it (albeit, a little while ago now). I just wondered if it work on the Quark?
                          Cheers, Lee.

                            I agree with that statement!

?? the CSM720 is smaller than a 401....fits on my 450 fine too!
The only issue is the plugs coming out of the top which makes it a squeeze on the front of a 600n, but fine if you stick it to the servos without the gyro mount.

yes, it will work but you need the SLX adapter aswell.

                              cheers
