Anyone using the backplate RevLimit sensor from the AR7100 Spektrum receiver with other governors?

Yes, Bart101 uses it with the Multigov Pro.

So you don't use the rev limiter on the rx or you use a gov in conjunction with it?

I just brought a AR7100r to use on my 700

MultiGovPro on all my 3 helis using the Spektrum sensor on the backplate.

Its clean and easy to get to.

Only downside is the Spektrum sensor is quite expensive compared to most others.

Right so you use that at the back plate instead of magnets on the fan?

Hopefully less messy than installing magnets in the fan. Any tips/problems?

Make sure you get the clearance right to the backplate. Also, the plastic bracket is very fragile, so be careful with it! I know that you can get a machined aluminium brack which looks the dogs, I intend to get some sometime to try:

I have an AR7100R on a 600 and it works a treat, as has been said be careful not to over tighten the screws and make sure they have a dab of loctite.
Very simple and as the AR7100R has a BEC as well, the whole thing is very neat.

Is the 7100R adjustable for all channels or only for the tail servo?
