      Martin,

      Hard to say really!
I had a standard servo until only last week, so performance was shall we say 'Average' as it would be.

Fitted the digital a few days ago and I had one flight to try and set it up but the wind got the better of me so I gave up!

Today was the second flight, quite blustery again so I'm not entirely convinced its the gyro.
Just had another flight while its a little calmer...
I suspect mechanical setup is slightly out, as it only happens if I give a quick input left..It bounces slightly then just carries on left for a split second-to between 45 and 90 degs on its own.

      More experimenting required!
      Cheers,

      Gazza

        Think I've got it...
Same happening as before, bit of left stick and the nose overshoots left. Quick stab of right and heli bounces then nose turns left the 45-90 degs.

Turning the EPA down to 80% improved things, I believe this slows the servo down?
I think there is too much mechanical advantage at the servo so I'll bring the rod to the innermost hole on the servo arm and try again!
        Cheers,

        Gazza

I always start with the servo plugged into the Rx and put the ball on the hole that gives max travel in both directions at 100% travel on the rudder channel. Then put the gyro in the circuit do the setup and start with the gain around 70%

            Thanks Phil.
Just done that and put the control rod back to the 2nd hole from the outside. With the rod on the innermost hole on the servo arm the range of movement was only half of what it should be.
Unless the servo just isnt suited to this gyro I dont know??
As mentioned earlier I set my mates Swift up with the 401 installed and had none of this.
