Hi,
I have a Logictech LT2100 gyro and a DS520 tail servo on my T500 but I am not happy with the set up.
I started off with the gain set at 70% in my TX but straight away the tail was wagging all over the place so in the four flights I've had I have ended up with it set at 25% but it's still wagging abit but now doesn't feel like it's in control. Does anyone have any tips on getting this set up before it causes me a problem as I don't have any confidence in the tail at all. Even with the gain so low the rudder is super sensitive with only a very tiny stick input required to flick it round and then it kind of bounces back like it's on elastic so it's very hard to keep the tail in which is kind of important ATM.
When the heli is powered on the TL light is on on the gyro so it's in tail lock mode, which I presume is the same as heading hold mode as called on other makes but when it's on the ground and you move the rudder is does not centre but I put that down to the gyro not working yet as the head is not spinning and providing any input to the gyro..
as you can see I'm a bit lost on this one.
I followed the set up procedure in the Logictech manual but I will double check this before I do anything else.
any input appreciated.
Ta.
