Hi All,
Just thought I would share this with you since it took me a good couple of hours of head scratching before I figured it out.
I fitted a revlock 10 to my 700 as I wasn't getting consistent results with the align gov.
Anyway, I used the bracket which is 'S' shaped and cut it down so that it was similar to the align sensor in size and shape.
I then fitted the sensor to this, removed the extra magnet from the fan then fitted it all together.
The problem was that the sensor was not being recognised by the RL10 not matter how close I positioned the sensor.
I eventually found that i had to rotate the sensor by 90 degrees so that the magnet cut across the sensor face at right angles instead of running along its length.
In order to achieve this mod I fashioned a small block of wood to fit the sensor to then heatshrunk the whole thing to the bracket.
After this mod the sensor is picked up just fine.
Sorry i dont have any pics of the mod.
Hope this helps someone.
Adrian.
