    Has anyone tried these in a 500? Similar speed and torque as a 9257 but with metal gears and cheap too. Also is this a digital servo?

    thats the 9650 equivalent and iirc they are not digital

      Ok cheers, will give them a mis then, just saw metal gears and thought it would be good to have, bloody hate changing gear sets.

        im sure there is a gear set for the 9257 just cant remember the servo they are out of. you could use the 9602 gears in them but i think the speed would be more comparable to the 9650 than 9257. but at least they would be digital

          Just because they are not digital does not make them bad servos. I bet if you (Oli) equipped one heli with these and another with 9650s you would hard pressed to tell the difference.

            Very true andy, but I can get 9650's for five pounds more per servo so its weather i take the risk of buying them and not liking them, or just shelling out a bit more and knowing I will be safe? Hmm descisions....
