No idea but reference to them being charged is in the Castle Link setup, can't get my head round this throttle curve 0,0 65,30 75,50 85,75 95,100, ( 0 up to 65 then down to 30 then up to 75 ) how's that work, that's like 10 point curve ? bit like a lop sided V curve. Have only ever needed a 5 point curve myself. Have some 12S packs for my 700's will see how many beeps they give out later on today. Just an after thought here, is that ESC new and have you used it succesfully before in another heli or aircraft ?Too many helis and planks, well that's what she says.

Had another look at the graph and all throttle signal inputs are above 1.6ms, lowest pack voltage 45.9v, no reason it should be shutting power down to motor. Faulty ESC seems most likely culprit, e-mail Castle Creations see if they have any idea as to why or if possible borrow another ESC to try.
Also JFYI my ESC beeps 12 times when plugging in a 12S pack in storage mode done from a PL8 charger, that's just over 46.0volts.Too many helis and planks, well that's what she says.

I wasn't suggesting to return the ESC or buy a new one, rather to swap for a spare or borrow one simply for testing purposes.

Just another thought from my own experiences. Is it a belt driven tail and if so are you getting static build up from it that could be discharging into the heli electrics. Had this problem myself once with a Trex 600 belt drive tail, it flew ok for a few minutes then would suddenly do random things with no input from me then settle down again and after a few minutes same problem again. Funny thing though it was ok with a AR7200BX, only had problems when I went to V Bar. Cured it with running a wire from motor mount to tailboom but had to get through anodising to make good contact. Maybe a long shot but it's clutching at straws time at the moment. Also had a flying buddy that got static from canopy rubbing on maingear and he had random problems.Too many helis and planks, well that's what she says.

I agree, there isn't much that can go wrong with the motor. It is the reason why it was the only item that I bought second hand. If the ESC is at fault then it is going back. I've already spoken to Raj and basically they will send it back to Robbe to test under load. The whole process will take weeks.

It is TT tail rotor and there are no marks on the canopy to indicate any rubbing. I checked the clearance anyway with it fitted and it's all good.Originally posted by Phill. Having said that, if you are going through a process on elimination by swapping out components then to a large extent what you swap depends on availability of components. If you have or can get hold of a suitable motor to try then give it a go. I think I might buy another ESC and Motor anyway. Chances are, I'm going to have another 600 size heli in the future so they won't be wasted. It's a 24 mile round trip to the flying field to test it each time, although I do take other models. The clocks go back this weekend so no more flying after work and I'm sort of running out of patience with the whole thing.
