anyhow, i was waiting for the Turnigy 3000mAh 6S 30C to come in stock to give these a go next or even stick to Turnigy 2650mAh 6S 30C that ive also got & up to now has worked well with around 20 ish charges on it.. BUT now after seeing this post i dont know if to give the same as you've been using a go Turnigy 3000mAh 6S 20C as for one reason they'r near on a tenner cheaper than the 30c & have them in stock...

can anyone give their opin on which would be ok for me.. im not into 3D yet.. just the od flip or roll every blue moon.. other than that i just fly nice n steady all the time with it..

    thanks.
are you using the standard align esc? if so i have had 3 align esc do this pulsing the tail and thay needed changing. one on my trex 600 one on the 500 and one on the 450 lipos were new so i changed the esc and problem solved.. if you have a old esc laying around tri swaping it over

I had some NanoTech 3S for my 450 and I refused to use them after both just seemed to loose power (heli fell out of the sky!) after about 30sec. Gave one to my mate who uses 3S in his plank and he had the same thing happen. If you check them they have good power but will not draw voltage. He also used it in his car and says its brilliant for that, but that's not at full power for long.

I suppose we all different. I have 4 3s 2200 35-70c nanotechs on my 450 pro and they are over a year old with alot of cycles on them. They still have oodles of punch and balance perfectly although I have reduced flights to 4 mins from 5 mins @ 100 flat throttle to keep to 20% rule. I think this is both wear and me pushing the packs harder now but At £17 per pack I think they were a bargain and wont hesitate to buy again, sorry can't comment on the 6s nanos but the 3300 standard turnigys showed signs of puffing after 30 or so flights with 500 ESP ;-)

yes m8 im using the standard align esc that came with the combo.. but it flys nice with my other pack 2650mAh 6S 30C for 5.30 mins.. its only the 1st pack i bought thats letting it down & has really puffed out..

thanks loads guys for the info i was going to wait for the 30c's but may as well save myself a tenner each pack & go for the 20c's instead...

            cheers.

you should be getting more than 5 mins tbh, i turned my headspeed down a touch the other day just to practice my hovering again nost in etc (just as i never hover about any more) and with a 80% throttle got 9 mins flight i put 2350mah back in the pack if your using the chargers % gauge do not trust it my cellpro 10s one is not that accurate

Sorry lipo guard one of them things that tells you volts per sell and % total. As said my oldest lipo allways checked with this gadget has had over 50 cycles now and looks like new.

Ah that cool i thought you where only getting 5 mins before you had to land, Does the Align esc give any warning when the pack is getting too low ? i have the 70amp esc, my old 450 used to up and down the revs slightly to let you know i have never had anything on my 500 but i have never let it get this low

I'm pleased with the standard Turnigy 40C series of batts. I'm using 6s 3000mah 40C units on my 500 and getting superb power. A mate of mine has had 2 Nano Tech 6s 2650 packs quit on him in flight and has gone over to the Turnigy "standard" range. I always get the highest C rating I can - reduces bogging.

I have both the nano and the ordinary turnigy in 20c and 25c varieties 2200mah, the nano's all puffed in the first couple of flights and come off really warm on both my 450 and Gaui. The bog standard turnigy even the 20C are barely warm charge perfectly and are rock solid at +9 months.

Save your money and go with the cheapy Turnigy's all three of us use them and never had a bad one.

                              35/70C 2650mah 6S nanotechs.
approx 80 flights on each of four batts. mild puffing recently. 4:30 min at 2700 hs and in the past flat 100 with a 500mx on my t-rex 500.

Still running hard, balance just fine putting back 2100 when charging.
                              Will buy again.

Check for buddycodes as you seem to be able to get them for the nano's but not the standard one's.
