PL8 - Parallel Charging - A Basic Guide

So... for my battery, I should choose:
2P
and set the charge rate to: 5.00A? (for 1c charging?)

oh and should I choose that High Charge Rate preset? I don't have the USB dongle to hook this up and when I tried before, I had endless trouble trying to get the USB to work on my PC so I gave up in the end

2P 5A is correct, if you can set this on the current preset fine, else try toggling through the presets there should be 25 per default

No he won't, the pl8 does the sums for you. Just enter the rate you wish to charge one pack and as long as he tell the charger it's 2p it will do the rest

Cool - thanks dudes! I'm charging it now.
Using preset 3 - high power
2P - 5.00A which equals to 10A for both.
Both batteries are starting from storage.

Just to confirm, the pl8 shows Ah per pack and the total Ah going out when charging. When you select the charge rate it will show 5Ah then brackets the total charge rage (10Ah for two packs for example)

I have a PL6 and I'm fairly new to this charging in parallel so I'm wondering if you can charge a 6s 4000 lipo and a 6s 5000 lipo at the same time?
