Slightly of topic, should I be using Mode 11 instead of Mode 4?

Currently using Modes 4 and 10 on the 700.

Mode 11 means no change in set headspeed using stronger packs,initially fly it on lower quality packs and use them to set target rpm then strong packs will be held at that speed,works brilliant.

Mode 4 is the older gov,mode 11 added at revision 7 firmware onwards.

Well I have just got back from the field and my 2700 6S Opti pack is showing signs of puffing. I can feel the outer heatshrink is a little soft after only 8 cycles.

Nothing is perfect unfortunately. What other packs you use Andy out of interest?

Keep us informed,my Flightpower pack for the 500 has been posted but it's on snail mail so may take a week or two I look forward to directly comparing it to my 6s Opti 2700.

Just recd my Opti 6s 5000 today so that's gonna be bedded in as per recommendations and used in the 550 again will tell it like it is with that.

I did 3 flights of 3 minutes with a 1C charge. After that increased the timer to 5 minutes and charge the pack at 4Amps. I am only sport flying so I am a bit suprised by this.
