Chris (Electriflyer) is doing them for £50 this weekend at the Nationals. Has a stand there. Don't know if this price will stay after the show. I know he has spent the last couple of weeks testing every single pack he has in stock of all sizes for balance and IR. Think he has some very good prices on all other packs as well.
There, that should give me some commission

EU store doesnt have any customs, they are hipped from France - thats where I got my quad packs from ...

Shame I won't be there Do you think his online store will have the discount? Or would it be worth the cheeky question?

If his online store does the discount i will grab a couple to try 100%.

Not worth going to the Nats for though.

I will email and ask the question.

Hi guys bret has already covered most things. ...I am indeed very impressed with these packs its made my electrics more affordable to use, we are very hardcore fliers nearly flying everyday in the summer with atlease 2 cycles on each pack per day. They've stood up unbelievably well so far.

The ones from electrifly are exactly the same except they have a hayian sticker..we may be getting the next ones with hayian labels...these have been brought in as a test to see whether there viable to sell....regardless I shall be useing them for the foreseeable future.

Just to clarify there not B grades seconds or anything else along those lines lol they are new hayian packs all voltage checked and IR check to ensure quality.

At this price there is next to no markup on these so warranties crash replacement and so on are simply unviable...I can understand people being skeptical cause I was to, there not expensive give a set a go what you got to lose....you'll be pleased with em'

Swale there is a warranty to a degree. A shop can not sell you something sold as seen its bs. I think we all realise they
Might not last as long as a top spec pack but were not paying top money, the point the point is sold as seen That really gets up ppls backs its a kop out and does not stand up

Obviously I cant really get involved with what warranty they may or may not offer on issues that may never arise its probly best to speak to em and satisfy yourselves

Im just putting out my opinion and experience on these packs ultimately whether people go for em is there choice all I can say is there stonking good value...

Let me stretch my neck out and say this has raj or anyone in align-trex let people down before...there a genuine co. With customers satisfaction as no.1

P.s these sells are checked prior to despatch for any cells with unusually raised IR or cells which are unbalanced generally that covers it.

As Swale said We check the cell voltages and ESR before dispatch to ensure that you don't get any dodgy packs received. This is as far as we can go to ensure that the pack is sound and the rest is up to the end buyer. In my experience if a cell is well matched in both voltage and ESR then it should have no problems with it until the actual cell's start to degrade because of ageing and use.

This is what we are trying to convey in the description.

                          Hi Everyone,

Just thought I'd confirm our prices for the Nationals, We're offering 10-40% discount on Haiyin packs for the Nationals weekend only.

Also I'd like to mention how our warranty works. ALL customers have warranty rights when buying at distance, whether or not a shop will admit it. It's the law we're more than happy to be honest with all of our customers and remind them of that fact.

I personally check every single cell before any customer receives a pack. I measure internal resistance with the Wayne Giles ESR meter, at room temperature. By doing this and being very meticulous (coming from an aerospace background) I have only had one Haiyin pack returned after a cell failed after only a few cycles (a few weeks after the pack was purchased). I of course replaced the pack without question and will always do that, providing of course there is good evidence that the pack was treated correctly. LiPo cells are mass manufactured and it is inevitable that from time to time that we'll get the odd cell failure. Some shops only check cell voltage and this just isn't enough. Internal resistance measurement is an extremely important check as even if the cell voltages are perfectly matched, IR may still be high and indicate a faulty cell. I have stopped a few packs reaching our customers because of this.

A couple of articles written by myself and Wayne Giles, found on our website may be well worth a read.

Our test results show that the 20-30C packs from Haiyin outperform Gens Ace's 55C packs! Don't believe the hype surrounding C ratings!

Been meaning to try these for a while but typical...I'll be abroad this weekend so won't be able to take advantage of the 10-40% discount so have purchased a couple from Raj to try in my 550. If they're as good as people say then I can see me buying a few more. Would rather buy the branded ones but for that price you can't really go wrong.

Great read mate, nice to see some scientific facts behind the C ratings, instead of "topgear-esque" more is better.
