i popped into midland once to collect an order instead of it being delieverd, not kidding i see the internet orders from 1 weekend it must have been around hundred and fifty orders, so with this in mind i dont think they do a bad service at all,

same as revolution, skyline, fast lad, for that matter, tried heli bits as well good service from all companies, no complaints so far.
LOL you see though ???? The whole point is they are doing more business than they can deal with so instead of expanding and developing their business they are letting further sales slip away.
Happens a lot with small business when it gets beyond their ability to cope.
Imagine if Starbucks or Bodyshop or Virgin did that ????

It's sad that what you're basically saying is feel sorry for them, and accept poor service....the poor buggers are making as much profit as they can , be patient and let them....!!!!

difference with Fast Lads is they tell you if they haven't got it and tell you when it will be in. Then I can make an informed choice. Generally 50% of the time I'll still place the order BUT I will come back. Midland have lost my business until I have tried everywhere else. I don't like being told they don't have it AFTER I have paid because it means I can't shop around elsewhere. They have my money locked in and i think that's a cr4p thing to do and annoys the hell out of me.

No, not at all.
Just pointing out that I don't think they're shite, as you put it, and illustrating my reasons why. My reasons apply across the board, in my experience :)

I take it you've tried calling them and asking if they have the thing you want in stock before ordering it?
Usually works for me :D
LOL

Just to put another point of view I have had 3 seperate occasions where fast lads have not told the truth and given me wrong information.

Real Raptors are 100% reliable, will always tell the truth and if I'm not buying from my LHS or Hong Kong I try to use them.

i dont feel sorry for them,

the point im trying to make is that they do well to get all the orders out with so many internet orders,
personally when ive ordered 98% of the time they have had the bits i was after.
been the odd occasion spares have not been in stock and not available on the website so i used someone else.

Like me I'm sure a lot of folks click on postings in the recent postings window.
Im not sure how it pickes these posts out but some things with few views and no replies seem to say in that window a while, and some things posts in less popular furma sections hardly seem to get into that front page, and the chance of such an obscure posting being left unanswered is high.

So sometimes I think, oh just put it in the main discussion bit rather than the TT/engines/batteries/radio bit.

Seeing what happened to this thread, which of course stands on its own as a debate, but is no help for the poster looking for dragonus spares - it might be better to have a bit more emphasis on the forum section titles in the front page - and some way of letting the forum section posts stay on the front page - such as limiting the number of "main discussion" threads that get onto the front page?

I have never had a problem with Midland, service has always been top notch.
-I don't crash, I just land with enthusiasm.

A couple of 600n's with stuff on them that makes them fly..
A 550 fbl with even more stuff on it to make it fly
And a Mars 470 which needs stuff putting on it to make it fly

And a DX8 too

Any chance we can stop abusing or defending certain suppliers and tell me where to get Dragonus parts fast?

I have ripped the ali head clean off it (Jamiem might have it on video, please post it, if you do) was doing stupidly fast piro's and i mean twice the speed of the little trexy when lost control and could not stop her going in. I have all that i need bar some new align night blades and the poxy ball links that go from the swash to the mixing arms.

Cheers
Dragonus is a waste of time, just sold mine, flies well but many of parts you can't get and the above really don't have a clue. Last time I phoned to order they gave me the phone no of a customer as they couldn't answer my questions....:mad:
Did you not read what I posted?

Mine flew well, much quieter than Trex V2 but parts are a complete pain, no availability, many can't be got without buying much more expensive bits, sell it before you get really mad
