  • Good UK parts supplier?

    Hi guys,

Anybody know of a good UK parts supplier, i am currently importing stuff from Hk or TW.
I have seen some stuff on Ebay but nobody seems to stock the new upgrade parts like hardened main shafts etc.

    Cheers

They might do but I wouldn't call them a good supplier. I've ordered off them a half dozen times and apart from once every single time they had to wait for parts to come in.
Wonder if they know it's illegal to advertise for sale, goods you don't actually have ?
 I sometimes have a nagging suspiscion that they intentional advertise for sale things they haven't got in the hope we'll put up with the wait.

I don't think Midlands are shite at all.
They've got their share of supply troubles for sure, just as the next company does. Their main issue is being one of the biggest suppliers and stockists in the country makes them run out of stuff faster...

I've had some issues with stock bought from them, but it wasn't anything to do with Midlands per-se - they can't be expected to closely examine every item they sell to ensure it's perfect, some stuff is bound to fall through the net, at the point of manufacture, and at the point of sale. At least, I don't expect them to...
Shit happens and I don't expect one company to get everything right every time.
Sure, some things could be improved (and some of those things could be dramatically improved!! like a stock control based website...)

Generally, their service has been fine for me...
In fact, I haven't had what I would consider bad service from any of the UK suppliers I've used, and I've used quite a few...
                      Maybe I'm just less cynical?
                      Cheers,

Nope, I've not had a problem with Midlands either. Usually top service in fact and very often my first port of call.

This year I've had great service from (in no particular order)

i popped into midland once to collect an order instead of it being delieverd, not kidding i see the internet orders from 1 weekend it must have been around hundred and fifty orders, so with this in mind i dont think they do a bad service at all,

same as revolution, skyline, fast lad, for that matter, tried heli bits as well good service from all companies, no complaints so far.

Dragonus is a waste of time, just sold mine, flies well but many of parts you can't get and the above really don't have a clue. Last time I phoned to order they gave me the phone no of a customer as they couldn't answer my questions....:mad:
