X7 - Just got one!

Swapped my CGY750 for a BeastX and I have to say I'm loving flying this heli. It's not quite up there with the Rave (my favourite heli) but it's starting to be the heli I take to the field before some of the others

[FONT=Arial]Finally got the X7 together. I placed the vbar on the lower gyro tray with the wires coming out the back…bad idea as it’s a nightmare to try and get tidy. I was going to run the wires right through the middle of the heli but decided against it as they come uncomfortably close to the motor shaft below the lower support bearing. I think I’m going to turn the vbar around in an effort to get the cables neater. [/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]Maiden went well today despite very high winds. Absolutely love the vbar, it’s just so solid. Have a few issues to track down as the log is filled with antenna switching and vibration warnings. There were even a few extremely high vibration warnings. PDF log attached if you are interested, page 19 is where the flying starts. Castle log looks to be ok. [/FONT]
