the wiring job isn't exactly pretty, but in the end it's quite clean as there are only few wires in the first place. It took at least 6 hours...
The big ugly thing with an EC5 connector on the side is power distribution: two servo extensions split in the middle, plus one feed line into the V-bar.
That's one reason why I consider the mini V-bar a mistake: With the full-size version there are more connectors available to supply power. Especially the Align DS 610 draw a lot of current, and one single wire for power supply isn't enough.
EC5 connectors, as it's much more reliable than EC3 and I can use absurdly thick wires that will [I]not [/I]break at the solder joint, not in a 1000 years...
