Oh my, that's absolutely horrid. 'Makes me want to cry and it's not even my heli! To me the Avro is like the most elegant airframe going (prob tied with the Srimok but I guess I've never been outdone with how impressed I was seeing the Avros for the first time).

Ouch... Really sorry to see this.

This is why I have a Hellicommand on my Outrage G5 and will put one on my TREX 500. Indeed yesterday day I too lost orientation after looping the G5 and then turning high, and the sky was turning grey and had I not switched in the Helicommand to stabalise it - I too would have completely lost it. Instead I was able to recover by simply setting HC on and centering cyclic stick and setting collective in 3/4 (climbing hover). to get it stable and then brought it back towards me.
