Hi,
I thinking about getting a Thunder Tiger X50e but trying to decide on the best power setup. I am still a relative newbie I'm just about doing fast forward flight circuits, the odd stall turn and hoping to get the courage to do loops / rolls in the near future, so basically no real 3D yet.
As such, I'm looking for longer flight times rather than out and out power. I'm debating using a 1220kv motor with 70amp esc and using 2x3000mah packs in parallel so I end up with a 22.2v 6000mah setup or do I bite the bullet and go with a 510kv motor and a 120? esc and run a 12s1p with 2x3000mah setup so i end up with a 44.4v 3000mah setup.
What is the likely flight time difference and with the 6s2p setup will i just end up killing batteries?
Thanks in advance
Ian
