  • Align 325mm blade problems

Has anyone else used Align 325mm blades on their mini titan. As soon as I ut them on i had flight problems and didnt realise it was the blades at the time. Since going back to the origional woodies, no more problems.

I really like the Align pro blades too, 325 on my 450 SE and 315 on my 450x.

They are well made, balanced and quite durable, I had 2 crashes with my 450x and the blades were unmarked.

They give a similar feel and stable flight characteristics as CF blades, but cost only £9 a pair!
                  regards

I had them well tracked but got a lot of tail wag. Had a lot of vibration too until i went back to the woodies. The blades were Align fibre blades.

The Align fibre blades are not the best and do have a reputation for tracking issues.

I had problems with mine until I smashed them in a crash.

The PRO blades however are very good and my 450 XL was never smoother.

                            Tracking & Shaking

I fitted Align blades and the performance was far better than the stock blades. After several hard flights the tracking went out and stayed out what-ever I did to try to cure it. A different set of carbons made no difference.
The final fix was to fit the Raptor metal upgraded metal blade holders (PV0803) and mixing levers (PV0805). These come complete with all bearings balls and screws plus a big dent in the bank account.
                            NO MORE TRACKING ISSUES.

HOWEVER - After a few minutes flight the skids started to shake violently. If I put the model down, spool down and take off again the shaking stops but then starts again after a few minutes flying.

I have my main blades stiff in the holders but not excessively tight.

                            Any clues anybody

I thought we were talking Mini Titan here not Raptor??? Anyways Flyaheli check your feathering spindle and tail shaft arnt bent mate. This normally contributes/causes symptoms like what your saying.
