Raptor G4 - Servo Support Failure

No the gears do not fit straight on the old raptors, probably work with the G4 tail output shaft, but may as well get the whole gear box, think I may do this for the 3D as I am sure it will make the heli smoother and less noisy.........

Front support failed this time, and lugs on servo.

One to keep an eye on!

Amazing how that held together it was only what left of that screw tab that was holding the servo in place...I had just fueled up and about too start it when I saw it...could have turned out a bad day as I had just put the 600 in on the 1st flight of the day.....

Broke another rear servo mount only had this on the heli for a few flights it has broke right where the bolt goes through.....

tis a strange one, ive had one break, but the one in the model now has hd around 200+ flights easy!!! and u know how i like to fly, and i broke the one closer to the main shaft, still religously poke it before each flight tho lol

Not another John, if its happening to Pete maybe worth getting in contact with them John just to see if its a reported issue and see what they have to say. Be nice and polite too and do it after your afternoon nap

I will email them the Pics, when I was at the masters I had a good look at the teams models and they were all standard mounts, we are wondering if it is the size of the JR servo case stopping it seating properly and somehow stressing the mount we will look in the morning, everyone must fly there G4 harder than me does seem strange that it has happened again, I have the beefed up one still and will put that on I hope it has not damaged the servo case this time.....

Is the JR case any bigger than others? I must say I have not noticed

TT have got some nice helis and a much better presence now John so I'd imagine they will be nice and helpful

The 1st one had screws decided too bolt this one as the screw heads became distorted taking them out....

Its in a poor state awaiting the return from Germany of the mikado main unit that went off last week to get look over due to voltage error's - turned out the vbar was a dud so there sending a new one to me hopefully should be here next week....

For £70 you convert the G4 to an E720 not bad I reckon...
