Best 550 size heli 2014

Id keep ur 700 rich, hk lipos :-) im sure the 550sx is nice but I wouldnt swap a 700 for a 550 if I could afford to own a 700.

I sold my 550sx to get my new heli and was reunited with it today at the field ......I miss it like f**k .... It just did everything flawlessly and there is nothing to dislike about the colour scheme it's probably the most distinctive out there and just pops in any sky. Nothing to dislike , smooth, powerful and very efficient

I sold my 550 for (yet) another 700-size and didn't look back. You'll be spending a lot more money down-sizing than keeping your 700 going, which seems crazy really unless you lust after the manoeuvrability of a 550. 700s just fly so nicely in any conditions.

Right its done. Just ordered new batts to keep my 700 going. Maybe the logo 550 will make a appearance later this year

Im a little late in on this thread sorry, but I had a 550 logo se which was superb to fly and I learnt loads on it. They fly really well and flight times are approx. 4 mins. There's plenty of power and it will do anything you want 3D . However like all Logo's they don't crash well with plastic frames and the canopies usually take a hit too. But saying that I enjoyed mine and the 600SX I had as well. I've since moved on to KDS as you may be aware and the 5.5 is superb and a lot stronger having carbon frames etc. Im really impressed with it to say the least and its super smooth too with flight times of 4.30mins on a 5000 6s pack.

My 550sx on 6s 5000 at approx 2300 is good for 4.40 leaving 25-30%

At 2100 you can get as much as 5.30 leaving 20-25%

If i had to choose between a trex 550 and a logo 550sx for flying performance then it's a no brainer.

When i had a trex 550 it was just horrible at under 2300 and even then it was not nice lol

Out of the Align and the SX I would have the SX all day long.
