Best 550 size heli 2014

I'm thinking about down sizing from my trex 700 dfc to a new 550 , I'm wanting it to run on a 6s 5000 lipo but unsure what to get. What would you get?

im thinking of a raptor e550s?... nick maxwells new videos shows him really throwing it about.

Doesn't your E5 use 6s 5000 packs? Not sure why you want 2 30 size leccy's

No just havent changed my sig oops..I got rid of my e5. I got sick of struggling to find parts n spares for it.

I've got a logo 550 on its way.. It will replace my 600e so I get where you're coming from. Got loads of 5000/4500s so just plug and fly, twice the flying time.

You won't be unhappy with a logo 550..

I'd go for the Raptor. The thing is just £20 more than an Align 450L dominator! It's just so cheap, and if it flies anything close to how my E700 flew today, it will be brilliant. Pretty it's not, but a carbon fin, and trying every other canopy at the heli club to see what fits would cure that.

If I wanted to spend more on something a bit more flash, an E5, but it looks like you've already had one.

KDS 5.5 I'd have in a heart beat, if they were on sale over here. The logo 550 I'd probably give a miss and get the 500 or 600 instead.

Yeah the main reason is all 10 of my 6s 5000s are starting to get tired and need replacing and i cant afford buying that amount of packs again. So going back to single packs.

Im thinking now either logo 550 or blade 550.....

i have a logo 550sx on 5000 mah lipos its the best heli i have owned. it a great size and great in the air plus spares are easy to get hold of

550sx is so light it was born to run on 1 6s pack. Over 400 flights on mine and it's still like the day I bought it.

Have flown the blade but it is a fair bit heavier. The only thing I like is the canopy.

Looks like the logo is the one to go for but I could have the new rappy 550 flying for the price of the logo frame aarrgghh what to do!!!!...I wouldnt give it a second thought if I wasnt getting married this year ha

Compass 6hvu is going to have a 550 size but if it was now the tt. Logos nice but parts are expensive as are the e5's aligns 550 is being a pig for me with out of true tt gears.

Whilst tt parts might be good value, they aren't exactly easy to get hold of...
