dude, just a random question, your tail is twisted, do u reckon it twisted and locked up everything?? because looking at them pics, the tail box has been dragged forward and the boom has pulled into the model aswell, its like the tail has loack and draged everything together

Possibly.
Maybe the tail hub failed and the one blade left spinning at dilly miles an hour was enough to cause tail box to twist and at that same point the release of pressure on the boom allowed belt to drag the tail box forward, With the belt still under forward (pulling tension) power had the strength to draw front of boom into idlers then locking and snapping jesus bolt and locking belt drive gear causing main gear to strip.
and deep breath.
me hitting throtle hold and swearing loudly. All in no more than a second.

Maybe but it all happened so fast its hard to tell which went first But i do remember the glint of something come off (tail blade with grip) again it hard to tell what happened I have spoken to the guy stood next to me and even he says not sure what went first.
Its a mystery. one for scooby doo and the gang me thinks.
Still dont know how the hell im gonna get mainshaft out.

Had a call from ade again last week. Thanks for your help on this.
The guys at Climb out are a great bunch and very polite (keep calling me sir) not used to that, being a grimsby man.
N5 still not built, Im just having a bit of a break as Heli's are all starting to do my head in.
wait for payday then maybe rebuild.
