I think it looks good too, definitely peculiar. Not one for me though, too big, too expensive.

I don't believe this will be possible as the frames of the 766 are 64mm wide and the E7 frame is 62mm, but it may be possible with some modification. I will try and confirm this for you and get back to you.Originally posted by 10x View PostAre we going to be able to retrofit the quick fit battery tray to the E7SE ? .....

I have a quick release battery tray in my E7se, I use a Goblin 700/770 tray on all my packs, and I installed the Goblin rear clip to my E7, works a treat.Henseleit TDR

100% I'll be getting one, I think it looks awesome, loving the red and white more than the orange and white.
It looks like it's using a fair few parts from the existing models so that will keep spares costs down if you already have some of their machines. The tail looks identical to the E7se/N7, and the bearing blocks and swash look familular. the head looks proper burly
For sure this is the first Heli that I have seen in a year or more that I already know I'll be buying

I think it looks class! I'm glad that manufacturers are now taking a bold approach to "pod and boom" design now. I'm also a big fan of the boom wrap. I've just fitted the speed fuselage to my Trex 700E and it's amazingly visible. I'd definitely have the boom wrap on this heli too.
I like the new direction design is going!

Appears to be a really well thought out design and great spec but whoever did the styling needs shooting IMHO. The three part canopy idea is fine and I could live with the angular styling, but why didn't they make the front part actually fit with the side bits? Why leave a big gap that makes it look like it's been made too short? I know it's only cosmetic but no one wants the ugliest heli on the field.
Maybe the look does appeal to a few but i cant imagine it's going to help with sales overall. If they are going to come out with 'marmite' styling then at least offer an option.Last edited by Grumpy; 06-08-2015, 07:40 PM.Goblin Kraken, SoXos Strike 7, XLPower Specter, Goblin Black Thunder T, Goblin 700 Speed, Goblin 770 Comp Carbon, Trex 700X, Kasama Dune, Henseleit TDR
