I'm a bit torn. Don't really need another heli, but I really like the look. For me though, it'd would have to be a single-LIPO config, otherwise I'd go for the 630 competition instead probably. In a 6S config, I could probably share packs with my 550X and 700.
I think 6s would probably be lighter but it would mean a whole new set if batteries for me and I already have to logo 600 so no need for the 630. Hmm. Maybe just plump for the 500 and be done with it.
Have both! :D
Pointless exercise really as I see it. They're almost the same size and design, with just a few minor differences.
However, if you don't already have a G500 then its a different story and the 570 looks a good proposition.

I agree. If I didn't already have a 500, I'd be wanting the 570 instead.Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

I asked this to on HF and the answer was a max of 2700 and he thinks most people will go for 2200-2600.
I run 2500 on the 5.5 and this is plenty it would seem+ 7 x Eddies finest EGS's

Yellow.
The grey and white looks pretty pimp on the ground, but in the air i think it will be crap to see.

I'm very tempted, the videos look amazing, but like the new logo 690, now that looks like it would spank the 570 and 630 for breakfast!!Align trex 700x brain 2 BT

Hello all,
Just bought one of these, first build as only ever flown blade 130x & 450x! Got BK servos coming too and a Scorpion motor, 4025-1100, got the Mikado one by mistake so not sure if that will have to go back as 5mm shaft and the other 4025 has 6mm. Any advice on ESC and Flybarless gear would be appreciated too. Got my loctite coming today and making a start.....:ambivalence:

Nice looking model, although the grey white combo is an interesting manufacturing choice since most go for easily identifiable colours. Maybe it will prove even better to see for orientation.
Not sure on the motor and someone with a goblin will probably answer that.
ESC wise I have become a big fan of YEP from HK with a separate BEC (gryphon).
FBL either vortex or VBar. But the brain or skookum are also top makes and if money is not tight then the Bavarian demon H3sx has the auto bailout technology to save you some crash expenses!

I'm still in two minds about 6 or 12 S for mine.YEP is a great ESC. I have it on my Warp, but I think i will go with a CC Edge for this model.I love my IKON. I will be putting another on this too.BK servos all round :)

Would a jive 80hv with heatsink be ok on 6s. I know the jive can take a bit more current flow. Looking at a pyro 600 or 650 motor for one if I decide to get one.sigpic
