Good news dude :) 2 flights and she's still complete . Now going home cos it's blooming chilly :) will return tomorrow with 520 mains , cos the scorpion 4025-1100 on the 18t pinnie ain't spinning fast enough , my pyro 600-12 will be here next week :) oh yeah , happy days :)

Post flight check brought to light a very stiff swash ball , so off with that n on with a quick swash , back to the field with 520 mains to help with the low headspeed , actually had a good flight , lipo is starting to come awake :)

I had to put a 19t on the motor to get the head speed at 2600 and I love it, probably more than my Goblin 700 :-)

But they still explode when they hit the ground. That's why I sold mine. I've done away with 550 machines and got the x4ii which is much better at crashing.

Ady. 473's are the biggest blades it can swing in stock format. Can be stretched with a X5 boom to swing those though.

Cool , when I can get on a pc ( phone at the mo ) I 'll look them up , is the x5 just an x4ii but bigger ? Will do some research , my fav and most cost effective set up is around 500-520 blades n 4000 ish packs , awesome , cheers :)

X4ii and x5 are completely different frame designs. If like me you crash lots then the x4 is the better choice as it has separate lower frames. The X4ii can take upto 5000 packs but is best around 3500. The X5 I think is good around 4300. Both are cheap to crash.

My last was full power on its side without hold for a split second as I was too low
Caused £140 including canopy and edge 473mm blades.
