Here is mine ,brought as a nitro 2nd hand and just converted it to electric. I will be flying her for the first time tomorrow. so fingers crossed.
ive gone for the green canopy and tails. i pondered with getting the yellow but as we have such sunny weather in the uk i thought i may get lost against the sun.


yeah thats what im doing.one battery in from the back and one through the nose. just one align strap to hold it and the velcro from the battery its solid not too bad to load but canopy has to come off thats the only problem each time.im gonna get some quick realese canopy mounts to save the strain i think

Here is my everyday Ballistic



Here is my project Ballistic, setup on 14 s with Mikado 160HV modded to 16s, 11t straight gears to get gearing correct. First flight today difference to above, esc cold, packs, cold motor warm so its more efficient. Ran at 1900rpm 15 degrees pitch looks like I will get around 1:30 more flight time Long term I did this to go 750mm when the 800 boom and TT come out.

At first I found it difficult to get the LiPos in and out but I moved the tray up as high as possible and moved around the cross braces at the back and it is now fairly easy to change them from the back without having to remove the canopy (not that it's a big deal anyway as the canopy is very easy to get on and off). I went with just two straps and I have my LiPo pairs wrapped together as one long pack. The rear strap has to run around the outside of the frame to be accessible and the front one can be reached from underneath and now there's no aggro at all changing packs between flights.

I love flying my Ballistic. I got mine really cheap and if I see any more at the same price I'll buy them if nothing else but for spares to keep mine in the air. I should try and get some photos tomorrow if the weather is good like the forecast suggests
