swap the elevator over with the aileron at the rx run him up again , Massive elevator glitch, result a faulty servo

sorry its me again I ment as I swapped the leads over in the RX and the elevator servo still glitched (although it was plugged in to the aileron channel) it must be the servo.

Glad you have found the Problem, hope it's not long before you get Dave out and flying

Rachel its nice to see you are smilling again,stick with the flybar head untill all is well,why not send servo back to "Steve Roberts"and have it tested or maybe get the shop to do it.Thou once Dave is flying he will be the first baby to go in the pram every time you go out.

Just as you say I will stay with the flybar for now just to see how I like Dave then change back to flybarless in the summer .

or I could go flybarless with a Total G on my Vibe 50 ,...... Hummmmm that's a good idea

To be honest I am just glad to solve the puzzle of what went wrong as so many folk were saying it was me , How could they !!!!!!

I am quite happy really x factor a glass of wine and a fab days flying and my problem solved

Thanks I really think it should work next time , thank heavens that I didn't crash it again

However things are not yet running smoothly I have checked this morning and found out that the servo's JR 8717 HV'S at £150.00 each are imported and have to be returned to horison in the US of A ,.......

If I bought a ferrari would I be impressed it it had to go back to italy for repair ? I think not.

I feel it may be several weeks until the Rave is ready again .

sorta seems wrong if bought UK.. you'ld at least expect them to be able to confirm UK that its a dud and replace it..not as if you've used it long enough to wear out...

I must say I would be singularly unimpressed by a response like that! You should point out the service HH provide in the UK, & ask why they can't do the same!

Hope you get it sorted soon, you must be so frustrated!

I am glad you found your problem. But I am not sure what might happen with Horizon on the crash damage over the bad servo. So I will extend this offer in good faith. I will split the cost of the ctrash parts with you no problem for you Rave ENV, just to help eeze the pain from this situation. While we were not responsible for the crash. I hate to see a maiden go that way, and would like to try and take that bad taste out of your mouth, and get that Rave back in the air. Just let me know the list, and I will do what I can to get it taken care of. With that said I am out of the US right now, but will do what I need to to make this happen when I get home. Just let me know if you are interested.
