I've replaced it & double checked the whole drive chain, it all looks ok but I didnt get a chance to test fly it cause it was too bloomin' cold!

Guy, how much backlash did you have on the main gear?

I was told to have hardly any on the fusion with black gears. Most on the freak were saying they had none although not to make it tight with some having the slightest amount. I went for the slightest amount myself after looking and checking this is what I though best but will see on its maiden how it goes.

I had verylittle backlash, I tend to go with Paul (Sackos) strip of paper between the gears method, when I put it together today I did it without the paper so it's all a bit tighter.

The Latest Fusion 50 kits (KR50F02) only come with black front & back TT gears, the main & auto gears are white and the black ones are optional, before I got the black main/auto gears I ran mine like this and it worked perfectly.
Yes I was told this by rodger at climb out, but we was talking about the velo 90, maybe the 50 is different. Sorry if I caused confusion.

Yea, that trick seems to be only for Aligns. Mine is only noticeable by a slight clicking sound when I hold the motor and move the main gear back and forth, it's that slight.

I would double check what the Velo needs as like I say this is for the Fusion so I don't know how it differs and also take note if there any high spots on the main gear.

I did notice in the manual for the fusion there was no mention of the amount of gear mesh required so this was why I asked on the freak.

                        Hi all,

I have bought the N2 and as it is my first flybarless heli am not sure what gyro to buy. Any suggestions?

Do a bit of reading on here and make your choice from there. I use the BeastX and it deos everything I need it to.

Here's my suggestion (stand by for world war 3) whilst the Vbar is undoubtedly your best option theres a couple of drawbacks, number one is the cost, the Vbar is about £100 more, number two if youre fitting one to a nitro its worth noting that they dont like vibrations as they were designed specificaly for electrics. The BeastX is a little better when it comes to vibes, its slightly cheaper and the V3 isnt that far away from the vbar in performance. However if you are equiping a new model its worth looking at the Spektrum AR7200BX the all in one as it combines the price of a receiver and FBL unit.

As Davey says its worth doing some research to see what best suits you, but that should give you an idea.

you cant carnt go wrong between beast-x or v bar mate they will both be brill on the model its awesome the beast does have a nice price tag tho think i will try it next but i am using vbar and it works fine on my velocity n2 with no vibe issues and i am using the stock pad and i do think it is abit expensive once you count your 2 satellites but if if was to get another fbl it would prob be beast x for the price you cant go wrong and then i would get to try a new system out and they all use it at my field and they love it
                                hope that helps mate
