velocity 50 N2 Build Thread

Hi Guys,

As I said yesterday, i will be doing a build thread for my Velocity 50N2. The kit arrived this morning and it was extremely well packaged. When I opened the box The kit was well wrapped and the Canopy (a work of art) was wrapped in foam to protect it in transit and there was no marks at all on it.

Once I had unpacked the box, the first thing I noticed was that there was no instruction manual in the kit, a quick call to Climb Out confirmed that this was the case however it is available on both Climb Out's & Outrage's websites.

I will post each time I complete a step in the manual

Does it look like its got the wider spacers for the boom supports? I mean do they bolt directly to the frame or are they off set like the V2 upgrade?

There is a small spacer for the boom supports mate.

The grips went together nicely, no drama's with it at all . the manual states to put the head button on now but i wait until the end to add that.

Swash Plate & Swash Driver. I had no issues when building the Swash up.

As was well documented, there was issues with the original 50's links splitting as they were being put together, i havent had any issues with these ones so far.

Kit looks nice, even better packaging than Align.

Whats the hole in the headblock, is there a centre pivot
or just a lightening hole?
