Giant cod?
Well, I've order my fusion 50 flybar kit!! Woohoo hope ive made the right disistion? Lol
I think it will be. Just take your time with the build, ask a question if you get stuck, read the manual etc. I have to say, it is the nicest packaging of any heli kit I have seen so far.

Well, it should arrive today!
I rang midland heli and I order the lock tight and grease, plus they have an offer on 600mm blades half place so I ordered some!
Sorry to have only just noticed your thread lee but it's true I bought one of the first batch of fusions & have never looked back
It's a beast of a heli on a 6s setup & absolutlely mentle on 12s. Mines still on 6s. I run edge 550 main blades to help the packs a little with their loading.
Mine is also flybarless with a mini vbar but it ran well enough as a flybarred machine for many months before I converted it.
The full spec includes Align 610's & a 650 servo the esc is a cheepo hobbywing 70 hv opto that cost me £55 its plenty you dont need the 100 LV for this machine.
Power for the rx system is a castle creation's BEC pro ll the motor is the align RCM- BL600mx 1220kv tail blades are still the standard carbons that come with the kit.
My headspeed is set to 2300 rpm & it flies for 4 mins forty seconds of fairly hard flying as a begginer hovering it about it would easily do over 5 mins. I find the opti packs fit the machine better & I have put my battery tray underneath rather than on top where the manual shows it this enables the packs to sit in the centre of the machine, under 12s the packs straddle the centre of the tray. Under 6s the packs being 5000 mah cannot fit under the centre with the tray in its normal position hence why I've lowered it. Turnigy packs fit ok if they are pushed a little further towards the rear of the machine, this is to accomodate the rather stupid exit of the wires from the pack which can easily chafe on the carbon frame so be very carefull if using turnigy packs in the machine. If you look closely at the opti pack picture ie the first battery picture the packs wires come down the side nice & safely. The turnigy pack has to exit through the centre of the carbon frames & comes out just under the lower tray at the front. The packs wires exit from the top of the pack as if its turned upside down the velcro cant stick due to the bulging battery wires.
Have added some pics to inspire your build
