10s or 12s with Pyro 650-62L

yes jive 80hv is fine for 10 s,im running one on my 700e no worries,80hv is supplied with the logo kit which people run on 10 and 12 s

To be honest it doesn't really matter. It makes no difference to how it flies if the headspeed drops 50rpm for a second or overspeeds a little. It's such a small amount it's not worth worrying about. That's my opinion anyway.

hey martyn,i was hoping to see you go 12s with this motor as ive got a little project coming up soon and was going to be running that exact motor but was/am going to run it 12s

Well the way I see it Vinny the Pyro 650-620kv has been designed for 10s and to be honest I don't run any heli's and can't see myself running any heli's that are going to use 6s 3500mah lipo's, also I don't want to fork out £250 for a new Pyro when I have this £250 Pyro to use, take a look at this Fusion running 10s

Also I think I might have problems with the head over speeding with the 620kv with 12s as already mentioned, and I wouldn't want to be running the governor on the Jive that low to get the correct headspeed.

yes i suppose if your not happy with that kind of power on 10s there is something wrong..lol...ill only be going 12s as that'swhat im kitted out for at the moment,i havnt bought the motor yet but the machine its going in will have it at 12s by all accounts

ive got a severe case of kasama-itis at the moment and waiting for the 600e to come out,it should of been here by now but the floods have put back production of some of the parts for it.

I'm keeping a keen eye on this thread and others to work out what's going in my Kasama 600e also. I think it's going to be the pyro 700-52 on 12s like it's bigger brother

hey martyn i think ive solved your problem....run it on 11s
just get a 5s 3300 and a 6s 3300 or whatever mah you want and sorted. cant see why it wouldent work exactly as you want.
what you recon??? who says its gotta be 10/12
