Oh well, my emails are being ignored now.

A reply of any sort would be welcomed but it would appear Outrage are not interested in this as not a word from them on any change or whatever and rchub have gave me no response also.

Fooking outrage piece of shite!!! They cheap for a reason so you do get what you pay for.

Wonder when the Align 600v2 or whatever it is called is coming out?

      Hi Ben

Send a letter to the CEO of the UK importer, he is legally obliged to reply. Just put "To the CEO" on the address and send registered.

Then look up the importer at Companies House where you will find the home address and telephone numbers of the registered directors, call them at home and send a copy of the letter to the home addresses. This should get their attention.

Being ignored is simply not acceptable.

      Good Luck!

Don't feel bad mate, it's not just you they're ignoring, I'm being given the cold shoulder too.

In a way I kind of miss the old days when they'd come on here lecturing me about how business works and sometimes businesses get let down by suppliers or couriers but don't worry cause it's all gonna be alright very soon! Well very soon came and went and it turned out it was all a lot of old fanny, but at least they could be bothered to lie to me, nowadays they can't even be arsed to do that!!
I've been waiting on a replacment bell crank, and some new links & balls for over 3 weeks now. In a way I can understand rchub not having the bell crank cause apparently they don't stock Velocity parts (Christ knows what I'm gonna do if I ever crash this thing properly) but I was promised the Fusion links to replace my poor quality Velocity ones and so far I have received bugger all. Luckily I've gone back to flying my Align models but I'd be climbing the walls now if I didn't have my battered old Trexs!

If it wasn't for the hard work and good will I've had from the retailer & field rep I'd have fired this firmy up Outrage's "Outlet" by now, sure it flies nice but their backup service is a disgrace!

I've had a search round and can't find anyone willing to praise their customer services (except a few sponsored pilots), that speaks volumes, I just wish I'd done a bit more digging before I'd laid out my money!

Good luck ben, imo you are up against the wall mate to prove a design fault with any of the heli manufacturers, it would seem that at times in this hobby we have to exept that we are the guinipigs, crash test dummy's! i feel that this is just part of cutting edge design, in the army we would get new kit to test (soldier proof) befor the troops got the kit to play with but the SA80 was and probrbly still is cr#p!
If heli kits were made by carlsburg thay would proberbly be.............itw! and cost far more $$$$$$$$$$$£££££££££££££,sremineds me of an old chinese saying... 'it is better to watch man fall over log than fall over log yourself!'

I said before the release I should wait before getting an Outrage initial release to give them time to sort the inevitable problems the first release's from them always have but hey ho, its me and thats life

Just sent another email to Outrage and will do as Gareth says if I get no answer today from either company. I really have no interest in keeping this out of the public view like I was asked to do.

They told me originally they (RC Hub) and Outrage were apparently unhappy that I put it on the forums in the first place and should have kept it quiet. LMAO yea right.

It aint gonna get no better till my Fusion is flying.

They should take a leaf out of HH book as they are sorting issues straight away!!!!!

Can't belive that they are just ignoring this Ben, just disgusting and not right.

I just can't grasp these companys attitude towards people who have spent there hard earned money on a Heli and get no support at all, if they think that ignoring u it might go away (yeah right) and why ask u to keep quite?, seems to me that they know there is something wrong but just don't want to address it or fix it.

They asked you to keep quite? Well that is almost admission of guilt right there that something maybe wrong. Didn't they have a lot of issues with their first version of the Outrage .50 as well? For all those saying how great the models fly, not sure I would buy an Outrage if this is the kind of support (or lack thereof) we can expect!

I love the velocity 50 even if mine is not flying properly. I cannot get rid of the pre-clutch engagement vibration that cause the BeastX to tilt the swashplate at take-off. The thing is I know its potential. I dont think the quality of design of certain parts are to a good standard.

When ever someone ask for help to resolve a suspect part, like the links that break, 2.5mm screws that snap or tolerances in boom causing rotation of the tail case you get the usual, "if it is only a few people that complain then there is not a problem...." rubbish

I love outrage the heli but not the outrage the support!!!!!!!!!!

The quality of parts was never an issue before, only lately there seems to be a problem. All I ever need was technical help where Paul Cambell was always a keystroke away, and that sort of support/help is invaluable.

Whats the retailers got to say about all this? As really, your contracts are with them, and they should be dealing with the distributor.

                        Ben,

When we spoke on the phone I told you that we will replace your crash damaged parts as a sign of goodwill even though we did not know what caused your problem at the time. Remember, you had not even sent the old parts in yet and neither us or Outrage had the chance to inspect them. I told you that I would prefer if you did not mention the details our conversation as I didn't want our goodwill to be abused by others. Frankly, the only reason we offered replacement parts so early on is because Outrage were very keen to have your old ones back to be measured for QC purposes.

The boom you returned was squashed into a smaller diameter due to overnighting of the screw on the tail box. There is a very distinct step on the boom right under the tightening ring. The boom was measured and photographed and details were sent to Outrage for their consideration.

Your replacement parts were inspected in detail before they were sent to you. The new boom was tested and had a perfect fit and good grip into the tail box. The diameter of your tail box was also measured and confirmed by Outrage as being correct. I will suggest that you carefully inspect your new boom to see if it is squashed again.

At no point while it was being done up on the boom was it tight!!!

You are suggesting that it is me. I have built enough models to know this tail box of mine is not on tight enough. This one has no distinct markings to show it has been done up too tight. At all times the boom would satill twist with only a little pressure by hand needed to twist it. Why did no one tell me it was done up too tight. All I got was some parts and no explanation at all. Just made me think you wanted to just get the incident out of the way

I have another new boom which I brought before I rcd any parts from you so I will measure the new one on there now to see if I have indeed squashed it. If this is the case then indeed it is a poor design.

Even a rep is having issues that are going unresolved and is no longer a rep cos of this so this is just typical Outrage from what I have seen in the past and nothing has changed and I squarely blame myself for going against my better judgement and pre ordering what has been my worst experience in what is supposed to be a stress relief.

Why does everything have to be behind closed doors?

Guys, all the pm's I got I will just reply on here as nothing will be kept quiet.

Still no reply to my emails!

                            Ben,
this is a photo of the boom you returned to us. Do you see where the problem is?

If you can show me that the new boom is in perfect condition and you still get no grip on the tail box I will be more than happy replace it for you. I am keeping an open mind on this one but I can't find any explanation why its spins for you but it was ok when I tested it.

Would be interested to see that same photo with the rule on the other sidenas it looks quite straight on the other side.
That damage is where the tail has come to a grinding stop after its let go & rotated not necesarily where its been over tightened.
I'm wondering if the booms are coming off the boom tube machine oval, mine had a nasty dent in its middle straight out the box.
Also isnt there a tooling hole down that end of the boom tube? Could be weakening of the booms hoop strength causing the collapse.

That could be impact damage as the tail hit the ground very hard and dug in as the tail rotor ended up on top of the boom and forced the tail down. That is very prominent and I do not recall seeing that

Not saying it is but it is likely.
