One comment, looking at your tail assembly.
The only thing on my G5 that wasn't pretty much perfect was a small detail on the tail pitch mechanism.
There's a small amount of play in where the mechanism mounting bracket attaches to the r/h bearing plate. It's held firmly in place by the two screws that attach it, and the side plate to the tail boom grip.
If you don't get this aligned correctly, you get some friction in the mechanism, and I found I needed to align it by trial & error, with the pitch mechanism installed.
I then loctited and tightened these 2 screws, and aimed only to remove the l/h plate in future.
It's possible this isn't an issue with the 550, but you may find the order you appear to have assembled the tail in doesn't help with this.
