My landing skids are starting to bend especially the rear legs. My tail is now touching the ground. Ive tried to bend them back but it only works for a while. Are there any stronger versions out there or could I use other makes? Thanks.

Miniature Aircraft (of Xcell fame) used to produce "Tuf-Struts" in a variety of sizes. They were claimed to be unbreakable, and certainly I never managed to bust them!
I don't know if they are still available, but Dave Wilshere (Motors & Rotors) should be able to advise!

Stretch an elastic band between the skids near the back and it will stop the model squating on it's tail. I'm sure a set of 500 skids could be made to fit. I had a set of Protos skids on my Atom, 'cos the standard ones are like glass (in the winter at least), so I know where your coming from. They are very bendy! The elastic band idea sounds a good one.Ian

Better still, get a big industrial cable tie, no bounce in that like an elastic, plus it won't perish in the sun!Flying T-rex 600ESP!!
