That's a shame. Bit of a poor show, after all the time and effort on development you'd of thought putting bits in a box was the easy part?

Unfortunately,
Sounds similar to the Brain situation when it was released. Great idea in principle but badly brought to market and using early adopters as testers.
It looks like a great bird though.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the model at all from what I saw of the actual model.
The design looks so simple and the servo layout and geometry looks like the best I have seen. I would have one and fly it as the 800 I think but the canopy is pink, and its very pink lol

I think you guys got it wrong here, the quality and the model looks very good. I don't think you will see upgrades or updates for it.
The only issues Im seeing are cosmetic, boxing issues, missing parts etc. I think enough testing has actually been done on this model before its been released. I don't see it having issues with flying or performance?

I agree the model looks sound and I want one, but people have been waiting for 2 years since it was announced. Given that delay the model should be perfect. I have read so many reports of poor packing and almost half of them had some parts missing. If you look through HF most people only got one thrust bearing with the kit - if you're paying over £700 for a kit that you pre-ordered 6 months ago (like some did) I simply think that is unacceptable. Never mind smashed canopies and scratched booms.
In this highly competitive environment I just can't see how they will survive if they carry on like this. A small fan base is not enough to keep a manufacturer going (look at MA) and with threads like this they're certainly not winning any new people over.Phil

IM sure if you took your car to a garage and they forgot to put brake pads in would be different but prob cheaper lol

Are we here to test and advise companies of failings? No I don't think so thats for their test pilots. No kit is perfect. If you drop a wedge on a new car and it's missing knobs and scratched do you just say that's fine the next batch will be ok? Of course not. It's the individuals choice what they do next. Wait for replacement parts? Oh canopies out of stock. Hmmm Others may wish to wait and go fly the next big thing. In my case I just lost Intrest pure and simple as having owned a few Helis in my time it's really of no consequence to me other than getting what I paid for which I didn't. Is MSH a bad company? No. Is the model a dog? Clearly not however to send out Helis like this is bad form and lack of their foresight not mine.
Im certainly not bashing the Heli (literally) but I was asked what I thought and gave an honest answer now the more dedicated modellers who built it can pass on their comments :-)

Hey, I wasn't bagging on you for returning the kit for the reasons you did.
I would have been disappointed with opening the box and being confronted with that tbh as well but it looks like the heli is a good heli and nothing wrong with it at all. I just disagreed with the comments that it seems MSH are using these early adopters as beta testers as we all know its been in test for months, years lol and not like Align where its tested for a month or 2 then released then a new version comes out a month or 2 later

I am going to get one. A few packaging problems will not put me off. Like i said. EVERY kit i have ever had has come with broken or missing parts. All heli manufactures seem to have the same issue…..Stainburn Helicopter Club

Fair enough. Maybe I've just been lucky but of the three logo kits I've built I've never had anything missing.Originally posted by SaneAdam View PostI am going to get one.
