Yes in the post with some nice bits to go in it. After today's small flight on my 780 it reinforced how much I enjoy the bigger disc and having a spare Kosmik made the decision pretty easy.

I would love a P700 but I'm a Kontronik guy so I will wait to see if it will ever support a Pyro 750 with 8mm shaft.

Hmm that might be tricky as the one way is in the motor pinion. I suspect a 10mm motor shaft would be the only way. I'm pretty sure that problem will be soon overcome. Some I see are using main shafts in their motors! I too like Kontronik especially esc however having owned a Xera 4530 before they are very nice motors and powerful too. I was going to go 14s and mod a motor but on reflection by keeping stock can be used as 800 with 20t pinion and 700 wih 21t pinion both supplied in the kit.

Maj let us know how you get on... I'm very tempted at this - besides I already have the xera I bought off you so it'd be as simple as a shaft change

I too am suspect of an 8mm shaft being up to the job - there's going to be a lot of side load on that motor shaft.

Will do Phil and yes I did chuckle a little when I saw the combo motor was a Xera and needed to buy one back!

Has anyone got a Protos Max up and running then? I am thinking of getting one and was wondering what the feedback is so far.

Tbh guys I haven't and won't be. Firstly this is the first batch so bear that in mind and please bear in mind I haven't built it or flown it too comment on that side of things.

My package arrived making all sort of clanging noises. Opened the box and the canopy was damaged, not smashed all the way through but cracked, crazed from the wedge of plastic parts in it. Next you realise they literally throw the booms in a box with other parts and zero packaging so knocked around within the box. The MSH motor was missing and I have to say at this point I was not impressed and made the decision to send it back.

Metal parts from what I saw looked nice and packaged carefully in little trays. Not the sleekest looking machine and not one I think I will be rushing to buy again (just yet anyway).

I don't mind spending that sort of money on a Heli but don't send it new to me like that. MSH has for the first impression badly wrong.

The retailer has been superb about it. Thankfully bought it from a reputable one. MSH needs to address this, improve and let the customer think they have spent there money wisely.

                          Interesting stuff, thanks.

To be fair my E700 came with the canopy damaged due to similar packaging issues. I am also yet to buy a kit that doesn't need something replacing due to it being faulty or missing. Seems to be a bit of a grey area in this hobby when it comes to putting things in boxes in accordance with a check list to ensure it is all there. A lot of room for error shall we say.

I am still very interested to hear some flight reports on this thing though. There is a bit on the freak and RR but nothing on the scale i would have expected given the hype that has surrounded this model. Might just have to get one and find out for myself by the looks of it...

                            I saw one yesterday.

Looks amazing and very basic. Low parts count to the extreme lol.

Cant wait to see one flying.

Oh and just reading MAJ reply, this one too arrived with a damaged canopy and missing parts. Were replaced by the retailer and parts sent but by looking on HF and you saying this too MAJ its not a one off.

Yes an exceptionally poor effort for a machine people have been waiting ages for...
