All those support bearings and gears to sort out.

Belt drive takes mins to replace the boom

No they don't. On most its stripping the tail case apart. Talking about a pain then its getting them through the boom, that is a pita lol

I guess its a case of preference.

Its mostly the cost tbh don't mind the faf and with the right technique belt into boom isn't a faf.

Whilst the cost of a belt is about the same as tube. If you break a boom you are going to be replacing a tube drive and some gears where as a belt normally survives.

This is main reason I'm not buying a GAUI... 45quid for a boom and drive

I reckon I can fit a torque tube in less time than a belt, at least on the 600 anyway. I'll agree though that the belt does suffer less in a crash but harder to see an issue on if you've nicked it unitl it strips apart. Happened on Knight 3D (upgraded belt) to me before you say serves you right for flying Align

The belt on the Rex 600 is a pain as it's too short. Which also makes it hard to inspect.

Single stage on knight, raptor, logo etc are the only way.

Anybody want to discuss durability of a belt? 😀

*yawn* ... well if you are born with an Italian name makes you an Italian? he was born in Brussels, studied arts in Evry, France which surely makes him more a Belgium citizen or even more precise valon than Italian ...

but as your comment your judgement is rash ...
