I have always wanted to own a Henseleit heli from many years ago when I started flying, the first club I joined when most of us were flying Raptors I remember one of the members getting a 3DNT,it was incredible seeing one at that time compared with the other helis of that period. For me the Tdr is still one of the best looking helis around so when Maj had a airframe for sale recently I had to buy it.The intention was to throw it together and fly it but with recent events making flying out of the question and suddenly finding I had a lot of spare time on my hands I decided to completley rebuild it.I T-cutted and polished the carbon frames, polished all the alloy parts including all the frame bolts(sad I know
)replaced 90% of the bearings and replaced a few other parts from Henseleit,I was surprised the amount of spares they still keep for this machine.Managed to pick up a brand new Align 750mx 530 and using a Align Esc,not my first choice but will have to do for the moment. So hopefully this TDR will go on flying for a few more years yet.

As I have run mine at low-ish headspeeds from the beginning, it has worked very well with an old style 750Mx / 450 and Jive 80 HV.
and a platinum star
