Hi Tom. A second link posted took me to an available imax charger: here: http://goo.gl/ZA3uWn
BTW is something going on with the RC Hero site because I've been unable to view a single shared link or even get to the homepage?

Careful you don't buy a fake one. Not saying those particular linked ebay ones are fake, but they might be. Lots of fake "branded" lipo chargers around, so do a bit of checking before buying anything off ebay, especially if the price looks amazing.

It has the normal connector, but it comes with various leads, one of which is a jst.

Yeah, fake stuff from China often does work fine, but often doesn't too. For the sake of literally a few quid I'd want a genuine one, especially a lipo charger. Then there's fake ac adaptors which have been known to kill on the odd occasion. Not trying to scaremonger, just pointing out that you don't always know what you're getting from ebay.

Buy from someone who has sold a lot of the item and check their feedback. As I said, I bought the cheapest available ( used a power supply from an old pc) and it worked great.

how many people are running a kbar on this forum, loads. And that's basically a fake vbar. So many 'clones' (fakes with a different name) work fine. Same as yep escs.

But as I said, check feedback.

Just buy a branded charger from a reputable UK dealer. Plenty of discussion threads on here if you look in the relevant sub-forums.

What if go for the slightly more expensive one, here: hyh http://goo.gl/itE6DW ?
                    I will assume that's not a fake

In the item description it says:

"Free adapter Traxxas, Deans, EC3, Tamiya. Please state choice in 'message to seller' box. With an XT-60 connector as standard. Balance leads are JST-XH."

I don't know what all that means but though I'd mention it as you were talking about jst or something earlier.

It's practically the same charger. Personally I'd get the cheaper one.

Jst-xh is the balance connector. The one I listed comes with a jst (rcy I think?) connector which will connect to the parallel cables I linked for your 1s batts.

                      jst rcy

Thanks. I am sure you guys are sick of my quest by now so I will buy this one and be done with it.

At the risk of being a complete pain, please can ask if I still need the 2 differant parallel cables linked here earlier as well, so that I can charge the MSRX and MCPX batteries with this unit? There was some discussion about which would be the correct parallel cable for the 1s lipo's.

Yes. And the one linked is out of stock.

about which charger, Well I've said what I think I'm not going to keep repeating myself. I'm just talking from personal experience of the product.
