Hi all,
Sorry if this has already been posted but I've come across some information on the web that allows the LP5DSM transmitter that comes with the Blade CX2 to work with the free FMS simulator software.
The only cable you need is a audio 3.5mm male to male cable. This plugs inbetween your Blade CX2 transmitter (hole on the back) and the line in/mic in on your laptop/desktop pc.
You will need the FMS software from:
http://n-old.ethz.ch/student/mmoeller/fms/index_e.html
You will also need the SmartProPlus console from:
http://www.smartpropoplus.com/BlueAndGrey/default.asp
This program will convert the audio tones from your Blade CX2 TX into a joystick input that FMS will recognise.
The information on the second link will also give you a step-by-step guide of getting the TX working with FMS.
As part of the calibration on FMS you have to setup the channels from the TX to the controls on FMS. This took a little working out but to save you the hassle point your browser at the following link for a screenshot of the mapping settings. You will still have to calibrate your TX to FMS.

I've only just got this working and there a only a couple of Heli's on FMS. If anyone knows of the CX2 for FMS file, please let me know.
Hope this information is useful to someone, it may save spending lots of $$ on other applications.
Thanks
Matt
