That is just the standard leads that come with the servos. Pretty neat arent they. They also unplug from the servo itself so you dont have to disturb the wiring if you ever need to change out a servo

How have your wired up your electronics? From what I can see, it looks a little strange! You've obviously got the bec configured into one pack, but can't see how you've linked the batteries in series?

Also, you might want to consider ec5 connectors to make connections easier and to avoid accidental msconnections! Have you spun it up on the ground without blades to ensure everything is working ok?

          You followed this, yes? http://www.castlecreations.com/products/ccbec.html

Can I also suggest you look at getting an optiipower ultra guard 430? Seeing as you gone with the CC bec rather than bec pro, a backup system like the ultra guard is really a sound move.

I use them in all my big helis now regardless of RX power supply.

As you already have an RX pack (under the main packs?) and HV servos, can i suggest you buy or make something like this...

              SPMYHEC36 | Spektrum 6 Inch EC3 to Dual JR Y-Harness

connected to two ports on the fbl unit (use a y lead if necessary). Remove the CC BEC.

The batteries are close enough to plug directly into each other so the red (front batt) connects to the black (rear batt) and then the 2 remaining wires go to the esc (red to red, black to black) i have had the esc powered up and checked all of the leads with the motor running and nothing seems to be getting warm.

Nige will the 2s pack be ok straight into the beastx? Will it handle it?

Cool if that's good for you. I'd be worried about getting it wrong at the field. I use EC5's which make plugging in the LIPOs much easier I think ... I'll post a pic in a second.

                  2S is fine straight into the AR7200BX(1). Although I use a Spartan VX1n - it's how I run my 700X. I use of these ..

                  SPMYHEC36 | Spektrum 6 Inch EC3 to Dual JR Y-Harness

.. to run a 2S LIPO into two ports in the VX1n, spreading the current across two inputs. The AR7200BX will do the same perfectly well.

                  (1) Voltage Range: 3.5–8.5V ... from (https://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/...ID=SPMAR7200BX)

Go with whatever works for you! EC5's aren't mandatory, but I certainly find them easier! The 2S LIPO though is a good idea as it's easy and shouldn't require any soldering as you can buy a 2S LIPO with EC3's already connected(*). I wouldn't feel comfortable running a 700 through a CC BEC (not pro) - especially without a backup.

As for soldering - I was like you until recently. It just takes a little practice and a little research. I'm much more confident now. It's definitely a skill worth mastering!
