I have to agree, what's with all the sending back crap. It's two washers, 'tell us you have a heli and we'll post them out to you' seems more sensible. I'm not going to try to rip off a company for a pair of washers am I. You have to ground your heli for days waiting for them to receive the defective ones before replacing with working ones...!

Nope, fill in the online form, washers are posted out together with a prepaid return envelope. I guess they just want to account for all the helis out in the wild having been fixed, hence the returns.

It is also about removing faulty parts from circulation so nobody is tempted to just keep them as 'spares' and possibly use them in the future ...

It also effectively grounds the heli until you have the correct part fitted so no temptation to keep flying while you wait.

...But then again it's a blade 700 and no one's going to buy one in the UK anyway. lol

After having just put my Trex500 back together (don't ask!) I was reminded just how easy, simple and effective the build was of my Blade 550X. Next year, I'll probably be looking at 700 class machines and I'll certainly have the 700x on my shortlist. The 550X is a lovely airframe to build and fly, and by all accounts, the 700x is better.
