Beast unbound itself! Won't rebind

Hi all, I have flown my 450X about 15-20 times since new. All was great. Today I flew one battery pack was fine, I changed battery for a second flight... BeastX failed to connect to my Dx7 and started to scroll though the N-H LEDs (which I believe is no tx connection) I tried to unplug and plug the battery maybe a dozen times, still nothing. I had a bind plug so I tried to rebind, now the Ar7200Bx won't bind to my tx. And this beautiful no wind day has gone to waste while I had 5 charged batteries waiting in my bag.
Ive read about people having similar issues but usually (from what I've read) it was a new beastX and it never bound in the first place.. Mine Was bound for 2 weeks and now all of a sudden it's not talking to my tx anymore.

My trims are neutral. Throttle is down all the way
i held my tx right up against the Rx while trying to rebind
i stood 5 feet away trying to bind
I unplugged servos while trying to bind
My tx works with my other models (I tried today after this issue with 450x)

Anyone had this problem? Or know a fix?

Welcome to the heliaddict forum

When they do this the advise is generally "It knackered send it back". A good one should never do this.

Sorry. Never heard of this before myself with an AR7200BX. If your TX works with other models, then it does indeed seem like an issue with the BX.

You may find that moving the tx well away from the model (10 ft) and raising the heli off the ground helps. I sometimes find my AR7200bx doesn't connect on the first try, probably due to the way I have the aerials orientated. If the model is sat on wet grass or near a large metal object, that can sometimes prevent connection too.

Mines done this once had to get it sent back and was replaced with a new one.

I'm going to call horizon today once they are open. I guess I'm going to have to set the beast up myself when It comes in. Is setup difficult to do? I'm new to helis, the 450x was my first heli so I'm pretty p'd off that it petered on me.
Damn horizon. $500 paper weight for a few weeks now till I get a replacement.

mate usually this happens in between days, received one day, checked, returned the next - never waited more than 3 days on them to have the new part to hand

Try as said above and re bind with tx further away. And keep away from metal objects.

Just now I tried again, from 5 feet, 10 feet, right up close. Ridiculous
I was able to bind to another Rx right away. Tried the beast again - nothing. Just blinks the one LED fast showing it in bind mode.

I don't really know how to set up the beast after I reset all the settings. I am new to helis, flown rc planes for 8 years but only about 3 weeks flying helis. They are waaaay more complex to fly and setup. There is literally no set up with planes I even build my own foamy planes and the only setup required is centre the servos and trim haha.

I've officially switched over to the helo side. I will learn this stuff but I was hoping to get more flight time before having to do a full setup on a flybarless system I have no clue where to begin.

Anyone else think a factory reset will fix this?

Have heard of similar things before so try a new model set up on tx. Just wright all your current tx settings down then copy onto new model.

I copied the 450x settings into a new model memory. Didn't work. I tried a completely new model mem from scratch, also didn't work.

Hi guys thanks for all your suggestions. I FINALLY got my BeastX back today! I sent it in May 6th ! not sure how "R4NDOM" got his back in 3 days turn around, but anyways it turned out to be a faulty Receiver RF board, it needed to be replaced. I bound the bird back to my Rx and all seems to be working again. Will fly it tomorrow.
