Hi all, i was going to ask if the 450x is really a straight out the box fly, i.e any setup for the beast x or anything, but i think a certain someone has answered my questions..

you have to set up your transmitter to the settings written on the manual according to the radio. i did this to a friend's 450x. you won't have to touch the actual beast x i don't think from memory.. all i had to do was set up the transmitter.

Honestly , all I did was charge the lipo, transfer settings to new model memory and BOOM

Good to go!!, , will add that I've since reduced my idle 1 setting to 85 flatline and 10% expo all round- can be a bit twitchy I think on supplied settings.

Out of the Box. Set up the Tx as per the manual. Bind and go fly. I only needed to turn down the tail a little for it to be the easiest Heli to set up I have EVER had.

Hi, i had a blade 450x and straight out of the box it was flying well however my tail was not perfect neater was my pitch. At mid stick i had -1% and low was -15% but high was perfect with +12% only needed a few adjustments on the beastx and the tail pitch slider and it was perfect.

I had two 450 3Ds that I flew for about a year. Easy to fly straight out of the box. And with a little time and effort I was improving slowly but steadily. Then I went and bought a 450X....W E L C O M E to the 21st Century ! You may need to gently tweak the odd setting or two as you settle in. But straight out of the box. first time out. It is brilliant. Responsive, stable and reliable. I love it to bits .

Seeing as there were no gears available (at the time) when I crashed my 450X, I bought another from KLMS. I copied my original 450X settings into another channel, bound the NEW 450X to the Tx and it flew spot on OUT OF THE BOX. Love the 450X.

As everyone has said - mine flew perfectly out of the box. Still flies perfectly now

Really doesn't need any bling/upgrades either. I would consider changing the servos for metal gear ones though if/when you crash and if the servo gears strip.

Well it's here, havn't flown it yet, spooled it up though, seems a lot more powerful then the 4503D, also the main blades are huge..

Going to get a bit more confident with the 3D before i take the X out for a fly i think..

The main blades are the same length as on the 450-3D? Unless you've bought a 500X by accident!

The 450X is easier to fly than the 450-3D by the way. Easier to fix too should sh1t happen ....

Garth, reduce the throttle curve a little, put in 30% expo all round and have a fly.

Guarantee you wont touch your 450 3D again
