I just used the z wire itself, just a little persuasion required. No reaming required (no pun intended). Tis now a good nice tight fit.

Is it possible to reduce the throw from the servo by moving the link in? This should have the same effect as lowering the gain, hopefully.

No. There is very little throw from these servos. Needs to be in the second hole on the servo horn to give you the travel required and hence tail pitch.

As in my original post I had to lower the gain the full 10 points to remove the wag. The DS35 servo is much quicker than the stock one!

It's done on the FBL unit, easy enough to do though

Good point. I was just thinking of the gyro function. My method would fix the gyro at the expense of tail authority. Could do with a firmware upgrade for a better servo.

No,i will set it up in flight mode as it does wag in normal and a bit in iu1,in 2 it's fine,i am in 2 for 99% of each flight.

I have just fitted my D35 sevo to my 130X , fly great no tail wag and all I did was fit the sevo and flew the 130X ,I am not that good when it comes to all the tec stuff so I did not do anything to the gyro gain and has I said it fly's great with out fiddling with it

Finally got round to doing this today, no bling just made up a bracket out of the old servo mount, makesfor a nice tidy little mod with far less slop than the original and much quicker too, got some lynx tail blade grips and fresh tail case bearings on order that will hopefully be here tomorrow then i'll get a test flight or 10 on her
