I bet the gens 450mah won't have the same LVC issues, or at least will come much later.

Haven't tried the nano's for the 130X but on my brushless mCP X they didn't survive long before the heli just started dropping out of the sky mid flight.

I should have said, I'm using Gens ace 450's And after an agressive 4 min hover at 80% curve they came down at 3.7v per cell
And now the stock motor is out of the way i can move them nearer the main shaft so their weight isn't such an issue

You guys have to elongate the holes to get the right mesh?? I did a dry run and put 1 screw in, pinion is nowhere near! Looks like more fiddly work

I used gens when it was stock but the extra weight made me stick with nanos.

Yes Graham,only a tiny bit,don't go to mad as the motor screw heads are tiny.

You'll struggle to fit anything smaller than an 11t pinion as the motor will foul the servo

it should be ok for the 8800 though as its only 13.6mm wide, the 8000 is 16mm.

Got them before other colours were out,i have the yellow ones now.

I have just put stock motor back in,its taking it's toll in crashes,gears are not lasting

I managed to fly mine Tuesday night at 65% and 80%. It was very smooth and zero bog. Too bad it was short lived before something else fell off.
