Yes, we update twitter as regularly as possible, and have this on the homepage of the website as a news feed. I thought that it was irresponsible to not keep people updated here as the original thread had thousands of views and lots information in it. As the product was initially created for the RC Heli Addict readers first we aim to give you guys and gals the best service we can. Apologies!

In the matter of advertising, we are about to launch a paid campaign here at RCHA.

Ok ok I just wanted this thread to be only about peoples views on those bearings. That's all!

I have striped my 130x again and have put it back together after finding nothing wrong on my previous installation. What I have noticed is lot's of play on the main shaft bearings. Very strange.
Kyle I am sure your bearings are better than the stock ones. Do you think I may have a bud batch or something.

I will be installing the originals back on over the weekend. It,s a pain, as the job to do it's a real pain!

It's not a must do mod, works for some, didn't make any difference for me, wish I hadn't bothered if I'm honest, could have spent £25 on lipos!

Don't believe everything you read, there's been a lot of self-interested promotion of that bearing kit here recently.

The tail shaft bearings included in the Walkera 4G6 kit will provide the same (small) benefit for a quarter of the price, but to be honest most tail vibration can be removed for a few pence using o-rings or grommets.

i think Panos have provided you with a lot of coverage through this thread Kyle.. Maybe it might be a good gesture to offer a replacement in case Panos DID get a bad batch?!

I completely missed this? I have contacted Panos outside the forums to look into this further and resolve any issues. I had not received any communication from him about this so was oblivious to any issue.

Thanks Muscleflex for bringing it to my attention! I am conscious of bumping this thread too much so will work with Panos to work out whats going on.

isnt it odd how some are not getting such a good advantage as others,

unless the original 130x has really poor repeatable build quality, and bad tolerances.

as it stands, the difference is chalk and cheese on mine ! when i spin mine by hand it is silky smooth in comparison with a stock notchy one.

on the same stock battery ( repeated 4 times on the same battery) i can get 15 to 20 seconds more flight time down to 3.8v - 3.81v, so i am convinced on mine it is more efficient, i also took a few of these and stuck them under a quality 300x microscope, and the stock ones look like 120grit sandpaper the RC Hero ones look like 240 grit paper. so i am sure they are staying in mine.

one thing to remember is that single row radials are not designed to be capable of dealing with offcentre or offline installations, the chaps who are not getting such good results may be worth checking that the seat area for the bearing is true 90 degs to the shaft it is carrying, i noticed one of my tail shaft bearings was not and would not sit true, so a little fettling soon had it set square to the shaft.

i must add that i will happily fettle a heli to get it working better, some will say that this is a wrong approach and it should be right out of the box, i disagree other than it should fly, a machine that has had some work with careful balancing and aligning, will reward the flyer with a much nicer machine to fly.
Current Heli's, Align Trex 550, Blade MCPx BL, Blade 130x, Blade 450x, JR DSX9

Total RC nut ! have been for 35 years ! my count so far of over 192 models ! ( Cars, Planes, jets, gliders and Helicopters)
