Tail blade ejection again

Hi be very carfull if this model is near you tail blade flew of my 130x on 4th flight got it down fairly fast damaged tail drive gear drive on main shaft, out put shaft bent, pitch slider coming apart . The bolt is still in the holder so the blade bust have split or fractured. Local model shop will not replace the parts and insist on the model going back to Horizon. I may reject the model completly and ask for a refund. The model did fly well and did not seem to have and bad vibes. How many cases of blades coming off are known about ?

Exactly the same thing happened on to Swales one on Sunday! Its a bit of a shame cause it was only the 2nd flight and we hadnt had the chance to really rag the ar$e off it at that point.

The kbdd tail blades are supposed to be arriving this week - think I see a set of those in my future.

Have you spoken to HH? Just going off posts I've seen it's not as widespread as the blade ejection on the mCP X but it's common enough that they must have heard of it.

Did you tightened the tail blades when you first got it?

Local model shop came good and are now sending me the bits to me so I will give it another go. The model does fly very well and i did expect a few teathing problems, I still think the drive gear to the tail is too soft but the metal upgrade should sort that out if it does not wear.Hopfully the tail blade problen is isolated. I can understand horizon wanting the model back just a big waste of postage that would cost more than the parts to get it back in the air.

You will be glad to hear that as of today KBDD are releasing the new 130x tail blades all testing has been completed and we hope you like the new product!

hmm see i thought it's been widely reported that the tail needs to be tightened and not be able to move on their own.

Mines been a complete feking mare, the tail pitch slider has flew apart twice, and the gears on the tt came adrift 3 times. Would not mind but only hovered in the garden, and all problems have happened before it getting crashed. Bloody mcpx was better out of the box.
Come on horizon surely you should have better QC than this. On the plus side revolution models have been very understanding.
