Don't know if I'm honest as I personally never used the subtrim method. I got HH to replace my 130x with one that didn't have the problem.

      Hi guys,
my experience with the tilting head on my 130x was only on a hard surface, spooled up on the lawn or a foam mouse pad cured it so it seems the 130x didn't like ground vibes meaning a quick pop into the air is necessary.
Also regarding it as a beginner heli, I had no problems at all as it taught me to learn fast, it taught me basically how things on a heli worked and definitely how to maintain it. So although it was scary at first, I was doing lots of circuits and hovering all orientations in weeks and I understood the basic mechanics.
I never used any sub trim methods, just made sure the swash is level and everything worked fine.
A jittery servo can cause tilting and is easy to see in TH by moving the swash up and down slowly.
