glad you enjoying your 700. ive just built me a 700 dfc hope to get it set up and have its maiden on sunday but the weathers not looking to promising. Cant make me mind up whether to stick with the up dated firmware on the 3gx for now as im only learning or go for a v-bar

Well, it had it's 2nd maiden today. My initial thoght was to make it fbl when I got it but I put that off and fitted the 720 and kept the flybar. Well this week it became flappypaddleless and boy is it nice. Got a bit to do to tweak wise but omg does it feel better, standard fbl Align head and AR7200BX. I felt instantly better and more confident even though it was a 20mph wind in my face and bloody cold.
Tidy the wires up a bit and wait for a V Bar to come up at the right time and price and it will be barred before Xmas hopefully. The BeastX is nice though, the tail is better than my 600 and thats good, stops are equal, the only thing I had which I didn't like was a tail wander in backwards hurricanes. I reckon heading lock gain so will play through the week and hopefully sort that out.
Anyone use pitch boost and a different cyclic response, what settings and how does it change the feelComment

Well had a couple more flights yesterday and have to say it's a very different flying experience to the 600. Dropped the cyclic gain a touch and added a little expo and although not completely locked its starting to feel better. Had my first auto too, brought about by my normal behaviour of running out of fuel, I've even fitted a timer to stop me doing it but didn't set it
No damage just picked up a bit of the field on the skids.
But, after seeing Delerados new 700n yesterday I can see me moving on quite quickly Nice to meet you too Carl, some nice flying.
